Becca is a professional actor and set designer. Many of her friends are also actors. Keep this in mind. We received this email from Becca this week: “It looks like there is a high probability of rain this weekend. We’re thinking, instead of worrying and fighting it we’ll just lean into it and purchase a bunch of clear plastic umbrellas.” It did rain (after the outdoor ceremony was over) and Becca and David did bring clear umbrellas. One of the most relaxed and peace-filled brides we’ve ever met. Becca and David made it clear that they liked our quirky images because they reflected their personality styles. Yay. Meet David, doing his first-look dance. Flower petals to be used after the ceremony. Becca and her dad looked at each other the entire time they were walking down the aisle, as David and his brother look on. The wedding palette was calming and beautiful. Pinwheels decorate Becca’s nephew’s Radio Flyer. It took a while to figure out which hand and which finger, but eventually things got sorted out. Time to celebrate. Becca and her nephew looking very much alike. David and Becca got married at the wonderful Mountain Meadows Lodge, and fell in love with the goats. I think the feeling was mutual! David’s brother offers a toast. All the toasts were heartfelt, and drop-dead funny. The toasts were briefly interrupted by a sword fight among members of Becca’s acting troupe. Dancing inside due to the rain’s eventual arrival. Dancing and kissing in the rain. Becca displaying some chagrin for doing a bit of a hack job on the cake cutting. It still tasted amazing. A quiet moment together later in the evening. Becca and David, thanks for letting Leslie and me be a part of your amazing day. And thanks for being your wonderful selves all day long.
