I learned during my engagement portrait session with Hannah and Andy that this is the look Hannah gives Andy when she’s thinking “I love you to the moon and back.” It melts my heart, as I know it does Andy’s. I overheard Hannah’s mom say to herself more than once during the ceremony “I will not cry.” I don’t think she was a 100% successful. Husband and wife. Whenever guests peeked through the curtains into the reception space during the cocktail hour, their eyes would go wide. It is a remarkable room. I never had an opportunity to introduce myself to this couple, but I am SO glad they came! Their infectious laughter filled the reception from beginning to end. Hannah and Andy’s families and guests were a fun group. Les and I had smiles on our faces all night. Les caught this moment as Hannah and Andy took the floor for their first dance. Can you say “dance lessons”? Such a crazy good first dance! Hannah’s dad displays proof that his welcome will be short and sweet. It was both. A group hug after Dad’s short and sweet welcome.
