Emily’s mom, grandmother, and bridal party all rocking the flannel. Alex (on the right) and his team. Pre-nuptial bubbles. Emily’s brother reads excerpts from some of his grandmother and grandfather’s love letters. Rock, paper, scissors to determine who says their vows first. One of the groomsmen, who paints in the style of Grant Wood, is going to do an “American Gothic” portrait based on a portrait we made. Emily and Alex’s dancing lessons pay off big time. The cham-bong makes its debut. S’mores by the fire for dessert. An exuberant hava nagila. Emily and Alex’s amazing Boston-based band, The Buzz, played something for everyone. Alex’s parents had obviously had some dance lessons at some point too. Emily’s grandmother hits the dance floor. Emily’s family plays the cake cutting music. Taking no prisoners during the primal cake cutting. The search for the garter begins. Apparently not thrilled to have caught the garter. Congratulations Emily and Alex! Thank you for the opportunity to be with you both on your perfect day!
