My second shooter was the always amazing Karen Pike, who got this wonderful image of Prescott as he waits to see Katie in her dress for the first time. Prescott clearly appoves. We could actually see the storm coming across Lake Champlain, so the limo was parked right behind me as we did some quick wedding party portraits. The details at the Old Lantern Inn were gorgeous. Prescott’s mom welcomes arriving guests. The bridesmaids wore soft blue. The bare footed flower girls. Katie and her dad. Karen captured this beautiful image of Prescott’s mom and dad as they listened to one of the readings. Katie’s dad, mom and grandmother listen to Prescott’s vows to their daughter. Prescott’s parents listen to Katie’s vows to their son. Prescott quickly corrected himself after promising “I, Prescott, take you, Katie, to be my husband. . . .” Pronounced husband and wife! A post-ceremony celebration in the gentle rain. One of the flower girls rushes out to congratulate Katie and Prescott. And the celebration begins. Katie’s mom had this beautiful smile all day long. The sun came out several minutes after the reception started. Prescott and Katie are introduced before their first dance. These guys knew how to dance. I usually try to get a photo of the guests at each table. This is one of my less successful attempts. And the dancing begins! Prescott and Katie thank everyone for making the day so special. Prescott’s dance with his mom. Katie’s brother sings the song for her dance with their dad. Prescott’s mom and her bffs. Portraits of the beautiful couple in the soft evening light. The view of Mt. Marcy across the lake as I left the reception. Congratulations Katie and Prescott! Thank you for inviting Karen and me to be a part of your amazing day!
