Dog Portraits February 9, 2012blogcharity event, dog photography, Guilford Pet Photographer, Jeff Woodward Photography, pet photography, Pioneer Valley Kennel Club, PVKC, Southern Vermont Pet Photographerjeff We recently held our annual dog portrait charity event in conjunction with the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club. Whenever we do a series of dog portraits, Leslie loves to go through them and select (odd) ones that convey a particular beauty, artfulness, personality, or are just plain fun. Often, these are shots that aren't what we hoped to get but surprise us by their soulfulness. Buster Carlee and Peaches. I love photographing greyhounds—their personality always shows through. Coli Gallant. One of my favorite images from the day. Don't these two sisters look like trouble? They were so fun! Isla This sweet little guy is a Portuguese Podengo. I'd never heard of the breed either. Lilly Maddie smiles for the camera. Mavis takes a break. Merlot Love this image of Merlot. It's like a dog daguerreotype. Noel shares a secret with Josey. Oryn Riley, looking painterly. Sophie If you'd like to be involved in next year's fundraiser for local pet charities, we'll be sending out an email in November announcing the portrait sessions. We hope you'll be able to join us for this fun fundraiser!
