The view across the lake as the fall foliage is beginning to turn. Morgan’s bridal party was totally fun and there for her all day. Mom looks on as Morgan’s beautiful dress is laced. The ring man is ready to rock. The groom’s party was fun right from the get-go. Morgan’s dad gets a spit polish before he sees her in her dress for the first time. Les and I aren’t sure who teared up first—Mike, Morgan, or us. Mike is kidding around in this image, but this was a Kleenex-filled day. Richie looks out on the lake as he waits to see Morgan in her dress. Some formals before the ceremony. Such a beautiful bridal party! Some of us aren’t that great about getting in a straight line. The ringbearer checks out the view from inside the main lodge. And some of us are just learning how to walk down an aisle. Shauna and Aaron’s daughter Aubrey spreads the flower petals. Young guests take a break from swimming in the indoor pool to watch Morgan and her dad walk to the ceremony. Though it had been misting earlier, the sun came out 20 minutes before the ceremony, for a perfect fall afternoon. The first kiss! Morgan and Richie wait to be introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Hackett. Someone knew Richie’s favorite sweet treat. I’ve heard it’s an acquired taste. The wonderfully romantic first dance. Morgan’s mom and dad look on. And everyone joins Morgan and Richie for a pre-dinner dance. Dad offers a toast. Mike kissing his daughter’s hand at the end of his toast. The maid of honor. Morgan’s sister and brother. The best man’s toast. Morgan dances with her dad. And Richie dances with his mom. More Kleenex please. A dance with his step mom. Clinking glasses and more kisses. The dancing begins, as Morgan takes a spin around the floor with her brother. Morgan and Richie, it was a joy for Leslie and me to be with you on your wedding day. May all your days be as full of love and laughter!
